The Tenth China (Mianyang) Science and Technology City National Science and Technology Expo

On November 16, the 10th China (Mianyang) Science and Technology City International Science and Technology Expo officially opened. At the opening ceremony, the China Electronics and Information Industry Development Research Institute (CCID Research Institute) officially released the 2022 Top 100 Chinese Cities for Scientific and Technological Innovation and the 2022 Top 100 Chinese Enterprises for Scientific and Technological Innovation Competitiveness. Four companies from three cities in Sichuan were shortlisted for the two major technological innovation lists. The top three in the 2022 Top 100 List of Chinese Enterprises' Technological Innovation Competitiveness are Huawei, Tencent Holdings, and State Grid Corporation of China. The eastern region gathers 85% of the top 100 companies, while Sichuan leads the western region with 4 companies on the list, and Sichuan Jiuzhou ranks 98th.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved the establishment of the National Ultra HD Video Innovation Center

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved the establishment of three national manufacturing innovation centers, among which the National Ultra HD Video Innovation Center participated by Sichuan Jiuzhou.

The National UHD Video Innovation Center is located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It is the only national-level manufacturing innovation center in the field of UHD video. Relying on Sichuan Xinshi Chuangwei UHD Technology Co., Ltd., which is jointly established by Chengdu Sobe and Sichuan Jiuzhou, it covers industry innovation resources in UHD video materials, chips, modules, algorithms, equipment, complete machines and systems.

The National UHD Video Innovation Center focuses on the R&D and innovation of key UHD video key common technologies. It has a number of industry-leading key common technologies such as 8K UHD cameras and other UHD video front-end equipment, full-process UHD program content production and broadcasting of "acquisition, editing, broadcasting, storage, management and distribution", UHD video cloud production and broadcasting, UHD video professional codec and image processing, 5G/LEO Starlink and other network transmissions, UHD video + AI applications, 4K/8K UHD TV terminals, and new-generation new displays. It is now accelerating the construction of innovative resource aggregation for the entire industry chain It has basically formed an innovative ecosystem that radiates across the country and is oriented to the entire industry chain of ultra-high-definition video.

The 14th China Airshow opens in Zhuhai, Guangdong

On November 8, the six-day 14th China Airshow opened in Zhuhai, Guangdong. More than 700 companies from 43 countries and regions witnessed my country's brilliant achievements in aerospace and defense equipment.

At this year's air show, China Commercial Aircraft Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as: COMAC) made its debut with the C919 large passenger aircraft and signed a total of 300 confirmed orders for C919 aircraft. Combined with the previous 1,060 orders from Air China (601111.SH), China Eastern Airlines (600115.SH), China Southern Airlines (600029.SH) and other aviation and leasing companies, the number of C919 orders may have exceeded 1,400.
